About these classes: this is about entering the vessel of the body through awareness of the spine; the ground and space that holds us. It is also more than that when we move and find ways to enter this physical container through what we could call the language of heart, or the contemplative mind. This is a starting point to bring more of ourselves and our experience into our practice. A kind of intimacy that ripples outwards into our way of seeing and brings hope.

In a sense when we practice in this way we are cleansing the lens of our consciousness, the threshold through which we see the world, others, ourselves.

Founder of the Centre for Action and Contemplation in New Mexico, Richard Rohr, says 'Every viewpoint is a view from a point.. I think this is what Simone Weil meant by stating, “The love of the divine is the unique source of all certainties.” Only an outer and positive reference point utterly grounds the mind and heart.
